Francisco Júnior (National Health Council/CNS, Brazil)

Mr. Júnior graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and post-graduated from the Federal University of Pernambuco, and is currently working at the Health Secretariat of Rio Grande do Norte. He leads the National Confederation of Social Security Workers(CNTSS), and acted as counsellor for the Health Council of the County of Natal and of the State of Rio Grande do Norte and is currently the president of the National Health Council.
   

Helmut Schwarzer (International Labour Organization/IL )

Mr. Schwarzer is Ph.D. in Economy from Freie Universität Berlin and M.A. in Economic Development from the Federal University of Parana. Since 1998, he has worked as a career tecnitian for the Institute of Applied Economic Research (Ipea), where he coordinated the Bulletin of Social Policies in 2000 and 2001, as well as the Board of Directors of Social Studies, in 2002. Among the publications edited by Ipea, the secretary is the author of "Paradigms of Rural Social Security: An Overview of International Experience".
   

Aldaíza Sposati (Pontifical Catholic University/PUC-SP, Brazil)

Ms. Sposati is a Ph.D. in Social Service from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC-SP and holds a post-doctoral degree from the Faculty of Economy of Coimbra, Portugal. Her professional performance resides mainly in themes such as social policies, public policies, and public administration. She is a Professor at PUC-SP at the Post-Graduation Programme in Social Service and Coordinator of the Group of Studies and Research in Social Security and Social Assistance (NEPSAS).

Guy Standing (University of Bath, UK)

Mr. Standing is Professor of Economy at the University of Bath, United Kingdom and Associate Director of the Research Centre on Labour Rights and Employment, at the University Monash, in Melbourne, Australia. He is a founding member and co-president of honour of BIEN (Basic Income Earth Network), a non-governmental organization which acts in a network with more than 40 countries, promoting a basic citizenship income for all.
 

Marcio Pochmann (Institute of Applied Economic Research/ IPEA, Brazil)

Mr. Pochmann is a Ph.D. in Economic Science from the Campinas State University. He is an Unattached Instructor at the same institution. He has always had his activities turned to the domaines of Social and Labour Politicies. He has been president of IPEA since August 2007, and has been one of the organizers of the Atlas of Social Exclusion since 2003.

Armando Barrientos (University of Manchester, Reino Unido)

Mr.Barrientos is a Ph.D.and Professor in Public Economy and Development at the Institute for Development, Policy and Management of the University of Manchester. His main research interests reside in the economy of social protection – including labour market, pension, and health reforms, apart from the process of ageing in the developing countries.

Ilcheong Yi (Research Institute for Social Development, Geneva, Switzerland) 

Originally from South Korea,  Yi Il Cheong is a PhD in Social Policyfrom Oxford University in London and has a B.A. and na M.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University, Seoul/Korea. He is currently the Coordinator of the Research Institute for Social Development, Geneva/Switzerland – he also does research on development issues and coordinates projects.

Ivanete Boschetti (Université de Brasília, Brasília/Brésil)

Ivanete Salete Boschetti is a social worker, has na M.A. in Social Policy from UnB, a PhD. In Sociology from the School of High Studies in Social Sciences in Paris; is a Professor of the Undergraduate Course in Social Assistance and of the M.A.  and PhD. Programmes in Social Politics at the University of Brasilia. She is the author of many books on Social Politics and social Security, including:  Seguridade Social e Trabalho: Paradoxos na Construção das Políticas de Previdência e Assistência Social no Brasil; Política Social: Fundamentos e História; Política Social no Capitalismo: Tendências Contemporâneas.
